It is unlikely that you will require anything other than bandos or barrows for slaying tasks. If you need Lvl 80 weapons, I think its better to RuneScape gold go for chaotic weapons, and spend your money on other items. I would recommend that players consider the lv90 equipment if there's cash to burn. Your choice is yours.
In terms of bolts, you can now use any bolt on any bow. The compatibility aspect has been eliminated. If you are using level 80 royal bolts with crossbows of LV 70, the bolts will come with a damage cap as if they were level 70 bolts. If you have an offhand bow level 60 your mainhand bow will be capped at lv70 bolt damage. The offhand bow will have a cap of level 60 damage. It's true, I buy Royals because they're the cheapest therefore it's not a huge deal regardless.
Ganodermics are pretty good for the majority of things that are magical. I tested this on beta after death, they don't drop charge either, as an added bonus. Watch out for weapons which were previously equipped with special attacks due to the fact that those special attacks are coming back. look up the combat beta for more details.
The stuff with added critical rate are useless IMO. It's more about accuracy and base damage, not critical value. As an example the fire cape isn't as good as say the skillcape IMO.
I'm at 90 percent nowjust 2M experience stands between me and my target. I recently purchased a drygore mace, and have been waiting for an offhand version. I'm almost entirely cleaned out however, I'm forced to resort to hybrid Warpriest gear.
What's the best option for me based on rs07 fire cape service my stats? (While still providing competitive experience) So far I've heard Ascension Monsters Glacors, Automatons... What should I kill?
